At Nexus Computers Uganda, we take pride in providing only authentic, high-quality products backed by reliable warranties. This Warranty Policy explains the terms and conditions that apply to all products purchased from our store or website https://nexuscomputers.ug.


1. Warranty Coverage

All eligible products purchased from Nexus Computers Uganda come with either a manufacturer’s warranty or a store warranty, depending on the item type and brand.

Our warranties cover:

  • Manufacturing defects in materials or workmanship

  • Hardware malfunctions that occur under normal use

  • Battery defects (for devices with built-in rechargeable batteries)

This warranty applies only to defects that occur under normal usage and within the warranty period.


2. Warranty Period

Warranty duration varies by product category:

3. What the Warranty Covers

  • Manufacturing or component defects identified during the warranty period.

  • Free repair or replacement of defective parts, subject to availability.

  • In some cases, full unit replacement when repair is not possible.

Repairs and replacements will be done by authorized technicians or service centers approved by Nexus Computers


4. What the Warranty Does Not Cover

This warranty becomes void or inapplicable if:

  • The product has physical damage, cracks, dents, or liquid damage.

  • The product shows signs of tampering, modification, or unauthorized repair.

  • The serial number or warranty seal is missing or altered.

  • The damage is caused by power surge, lightning, or voltage fluctuations.

  • The fault is due to software issues, viruses, or improper installation.

  • The defect results from negligence, misuse, or accidental damage.

  • Consumables like toner, ink, cables, and batteries that have natural wear and tear.


5. Warranty Claim Process

To file a warranty claim:

  1. Contact us via support@nexuscomputers.ug or WhatsApp +256 773 218 203 with your order number or receipt.

  2. Describe the issue clearly and attach photos or videos (if possible).

  3. Bring or send the defective item to our service center for inspection.

  4. Our team will evaluate the claim and update you within 3–5 business days.

If the issue is confirmed to be covered under warranty, the product will be repaired or replaced at no cost.


6. Turnaround Time

Most repairs or replacements are completed within 7–14 business days, depending on spare part availability and service center workload.


7. Non-Repairable Products

If the product cannot be repaired and is no longer available in stock:

  • We may offer a replacement of equivalent value


8. Warranty Transfer

The warranty is valid only for the original purchaser and cannot be transferred to another person once the item is sold or gifted.


9. Third-Party or Manufacturer Warranty

Some brands (e.g., HP, Dell, Lenovo, JBL) provide manufacturer-backed warranties that are serviced directly through their authorized centers.
In such cases, Nexus Computers will help guide you on how to process the claim with the official brand service center.
